Pelion Athletes Play in the Junior League Softball World Series

Dear Panther Families,
Savanna Padgett and Rilynn Earle have headed to Kirkland, WA to play in the Junior League World Series airing on ESPN+.
They are playing for the Irmo Little League and won Regionals with a 3-0 record, sending them to the World Series. The team is made up of 12 girls from 6 local schools, with 2 from Pelion. You can find Savanna playing SS and Rilynn playing CF.
As of today 07/30 they are 2-1, playing their last pool game at 4:00 EST. Tomorrow 07/31 begins bracket play in single elimination and championship game will be played on Saturday at 4:00 EST.
